Thanks for that info. Very cool. Who started the band and how did you get
interested in surf music?
You guys are considered 2nd wave...were there any other surf bands active
when you started the Halibuts? What prompted you guys to start a surf band?
What kind of gear did you guys have then and now?
I understand Pete Curry is a real gear nut also and has some really old
Jazzmasters???? I read somewhere that they were used as reference material
when Fender decided to create the American Vintage reissues?
I got to meet Pete briefly at a LS show. He was super cool along with the
other guys in LS.

PS I recall reading a post on Cowabunga from a guy who had played with Eddie
Angel in Europe in the Neanderthals. I thought he was an ex-Halibut. I must
have got that confused, sorry.
