I have the same problem with my RI tank...it produces these evil
harsh high frequency overtones if the tone nob is past 2 or 3. I
have done the cap mod and run a 1952 NOS 6k6 in it. Can someone
confirm that using a 12AT7 instead of the 12AX7 will solve this
problem? I'm at the end of the line for mods to fix it and am hoping
this will do the trick. Think it will?
