Well, right now, I'm only playing at home. I'm still
actively trying to put something together band-wise,
but who konws how long that could take. The reason I
was looking at diving right into the big stuff is for
one reason: I've been in the hobby-hole before. You
buy something that'll do, or that's just as much as
you think you need...then you spend the money to take
the next step up, and then another step up, doing this
and that, and the next thing you know you could've
just gone ahead and bought your dream setup for half
of what you've spent screwing around with everything
else.
But then, heck, most of the guys I know in bands don't
have amps as nice as either of the two I'm looking at.
I spent a lot of time hunting Ampeg Reverbrockets but
wasn't willing to drop the green they were going for
on eBay. I had never thought about a Vox before, but
it sounds like it might be a good idea. If I can find
one around here I'll try it out.
