I've got my tax return check and I'm agonizing over
this decision. I want an amp, but I don't want to go
overboard...I don't want to buy something I'm not
going to be happy with long term either. I'm mainly
bouncing back and forth between the HRD and Twin
'verb. I can pick up a slightly used Twin REverb RI
an hour or so from where I live, or I can buy a Hot
Rod Deluxe and spend the money for a new speaker and
tubes. I like the sound of the Twin more than the
Deluxe, but I keep hearing about how much better they
sound with new tubes and a better speaker. Anybody
got any insight?
