I think there's LOTS of guys here in surf bands. Heh.
Our bass player, Mike, uses Thomastik Infeld
(commonly called "TI's") flatwounds which I believe
are nickel. There's a cool article on surf bass that
states unequivocally that THE bass string is Labella
Deep Talkin flatwounds, which are stainless. I like
these and just got some for my little Musicmaster
bass. You can find the article in the files section
