As promised, I put together some details on the capacitor mod for the
Fender Reissue Reverb tank. I threw some words and photos together

This page will give you a general idea on how to do the mod, as well
as how to wire an A/B switch to compare way the "before" and "after"
caps sound. It's not fancy, but tells the story pretty well.
I like this mod a lot - I think I first saw it mentioned as coming
from a Guitar Player article, as mentioned by Mel Waldorf in the
Cowabunga archives (thanks, Mel!). Feel free to ask any questions on
the procedure.
