No worries, no offense taken. I'm pretty thrilled that anyone is listening
closely enough to notice this sort of stuff.
I don't recall what order we recorded the drum tracks. Shig played drums on
the sixteen original tracks and Tom "Tevye" Rockwell played drums on the
four new tracks. In all cases, I recorded the guitar/bass/keys along to a
drum machine track, had the drummer play along to that. Then I went through
and re-recorded bass and anything else necessary to match with the live
drumming. It's not my preferred method of recording, but it's practical and
flexible for time efficiency.
So, I'll pass along your number to my therapist.
