I've listened to this a few times now. I knew going in that this was
going to be very far from their earlier, surfier music. And it is. It
is so not surf. But there are some really cool songs on here, and the
musicianship is, as always, top notch. If you need a break from surf,
put this on. Good stuff with lots of interesting melodies and
atmosphere. It requires a few listenings to get into, but I like it.
