Glad you guys got to catch The NovaRays... They are a great bunch of
guys. Lewis and I played together for a while before he moved to
Orlando... Not only was he in The Woggles (He plays bass on
the "Return to Blood Beach" 3 song 7" which finally made it's US
debut on the "Soul Sizzling 7" Meltdown" cd last year), but he was
one of the founding members of The Intoxicators!... was a member of
Stingray International (which opened for Dick Dale in Tallahassee,
FL)... had a song (as a solo performer) on the Japanese release
Takuroku Surf Party (which also features solo recordings from Yuzo
Kayama, Sammy from the Royal Fingers, Jun from Mama Guitar, and many
more)... and performed on Spinout Records compilation "Rock Don't
Run: Volume One" as a member of The Surf Kings (from Laguna Beach
(AKA Panama City), Florida...)
The Intoxicators! are trying to work a show in with the Nova Rays on
March 31st in Orlando... I'll keep you posted.
