The Vibroverb is aimed more at blooz players. The Diaz mod apparently makes
the amp break up at a lower volume, and is something Stevie Ray Vaughn had
done to his Vibroverbs. I'm sure it's a nice sounding amp, and I bet you
can get surfy tones from it, but I wouldn't look to it as a traditional surf
amp.
As for pricing, they are putting it on level with the Dual Professional, but
isn't that what they did with the '65 Twin Reverb Reissue and the '65 Super
Reverb Reissue? Each one is the "top of the line" to a different group of
customers.

Hey Phil,
Be sure and give us the scoop on your bass when you get it!
Thats very interesting on the price of the Vibroverb. Thats the same
price for the Dual Professional ($3000 list price, $2100 street).
With the Dual Pro you get a built in reverb unit (3 knob), 100
Watts, and 2 12" speakers. Wow, I wonder why the Vibroverb is nearly
the same as the Dual Pro?
