Thanks Ivan. Yeah, it's solid state and probably about 40 watts. It sounds very
good and the Fuzzrite has the classic Fuzzrite sound but the effects channels
are noisey. It was a poor design and most of these amps were returned to Mosrite
for repair. Semie Mosely went through a 200K credit line that the Ventures had
with Crocker Bank trying to make the amp fly. This caused the break up between
Mosrite and the Ventures.
I keep it around as a collectable and wouldn't want to use it at a gig. It's too
big and heavy and fragile. The Ventures used the amp on their '67 Japan tour but
not much after that. Here's a picture of them using it in that era:
I don't know what those piggy-back amps on "On Stage" are. Some kinda Japanese
brand, I'm guessin'.

Speaking of Ventures amps, I've long wondered which amps they are seen
playing on the cover of the On Stage - Around the World Album. Any
idea?
