hey DP,
well i live in an apartment in new york, so i cant
really amp it up. WHich is why i go DI with amp
modelers. I use to use the POD, but well i think im
figuring out that i dont like it. Now i use a
behringer mixer straight to the PC, where i run NI
Guitar Rig.
on 'chandlier rock' for the comp, i used the POD,
actually as a 'tube pre amp' that ran into Guitar Rig.
That was the first week i had just got guitar rig, and
all my levels were way up accounting for the extra
muddiness. I didnt realize every liitle thing had its
own gain knob. But those guitars are pretty
characterisitc.
Im gonna try to post some reverberated riffs, and see
what people thing of the overall recording quality, to
see how it differs from what there use to hearing
from recorded guitars. Hopefully you can take a listen
to.
