Okay, here are some new reverb issues. I had all kinds of sproingy
sounds coming out of my Fender tube reverb unit (think "Pipeline"
intro), so I've moved it up onto a shelf. Problem solved. Now, how do
I shock-proof the amp for live gigs? Or am I needlessly worrying? I'm
sure many solutions will be proposed!
Second, my Reverb is real trebly. I did the 6K6 tube replacement, and
it didn't improve considerably. I have played with the other 12AT and
7025 tubes, and even with nice Ei replacements, it's still screechy. I
don't want to do the cap switch - too techical for moi. Are there
other suggestions? AS it is, I don't even turn the tone pot past "2"
(but put the dwell and mix at 8 or 9!)
BTW, this group has been great. It keeps me focused and playin,' so
thanks to all.
