I had my '63 Fender Tremolux overhauled a year ago and it's sounding better than
I've ever heard it sound since I bought it 20 years ago. However, it recently
started making a really loud buzzing noise that does not change when I flip the
ground switch. It's not my guitar, because this loud buzz is equally present
when there is nothing plugged into the amp.I had the original 2 prong power cord
removed and a new 3 prong installed. Is this a common problem with old Fender
amps? This buzz is too loud to use the amp at a gig! Any ideas?
