It's definitely not worth paying much for that album. I'd recommend
getting that Samurai Surf Guitar 2-CD set, since that has a bunch of
his other rare sixties tracks on the 1st CD, and the full Ciro's and
Tiger's Loose albums on the other CD. Definitely worth it! I think
it pops up on eBay relatively recently (in fact, I think it's just
some guy making the CDs by himself).

It's an excellent track. The best on the whole album, for sure.

Smoke on the Water is pretty bad, I agree. But I thought there were
many other great moments during the shows. After actually walking
out of his shows in '97 and '00 (just couldn't take it anymore - and
in '00, the Cossacks played with him, so that's why I was there in
the first place), I grew to enjoy his live sets again. It took me
four years, though!
