My bad for not starting a new thread there (re: Hallmark Sweptwing).
That same night in Indy The Surge did a GREAT cover of Jon & The
Nightriders "Storm Dancer". And The Nebulas also did Satan's Pilgrim's
Ichabod Crane. COOL!
Lots of bands seem to cover Los Straitjackets these days too...Maybe
Jon & The Nightriders were first when they covered Tailspin? The
Ventures even covered Calhoun Surf, the first song Danny Amis wrote
while emulating one of his favorite bands: The Ventures.
