I forgot to mention...barre chords are moveable up and down
the neck...the "bar" finger acts like a capo and
"transposes" (in a sense) the chord shape you are using.
for exaple:
An Emaj barre chord shape at the 3rd fret is a Gmaj, at
the 5th fret it's an Amaj, at the 7th fret it's a Bmaj
etc...
