The SideJack that Deke is playing in the video is one of the Japanese copies.
Brian Lonbeck is playing an original Mosrite. He really has that Joe Maphis
style down. Talk about a face-melter!

Hey Bill, since you're in the market, I thought I'd pass along this
email from zamminc about his new shipment of "Excellent" models:
"Hello Patrick,
I have a shipment of Excellent 65 models coming in the first week of
August. The Available colors are Sunburst, Metallic Blue and Pearl
White. They are $1200 including shipping and case if you preorder and
$1300 with a Vibramute. Once they are in the prices will be plus
shipping and the vibramute model will be $1325 plus shipping.
Best regards,
kevin"
I thought I was over my Mosrite GAS until I saw the video online
for "Haulin' Hearse" (which, incidentally, we cover live), then not
long after I caught the Supersuckers live and the bassist played a
Mosrite during the country set, then later I picked up Deke's Guitar-
Geek Fest DVD, and Deke and Brian Lonbeck (insane country picker)
both had Mosrites.
I pretty much ditched the idea of the copy for the same reason you
mentioned - I don't want to spend the cash on a half-assed mockup
that I'll be constantly upgrading to something that it will never
be. I'm still considering the Hallmark, though - something about a
guitar that looks like it came from a Jetsons rerun appeals to me...
Good luck...
