Re: Hank Marvin's Effects/Amp

wipeoutboy63 - 24 Jul 2005 06:58:52

Hi,
There are also some other very nice digital echo's arround. One of
them was made by a Belgain Shadows fan and he called his device "
Atlantis" after a Shadows song. I know two guys who have these and
they really nail the sound. Although now out of production and not
being cheap, they really sound very good. This is also a rack unit
with programmed echo's. The guy must have take his time for it. I
once saw him preforming with the "Atlantis" at a guitar show,
playing a sort of "best of the schadows", not only did he bring a
very nice interpretaion of the Hank Marving playing, the sound was
there!
As far a vintage tape Echo's go, I really like those, but they are
not very reliable imo. I recently came across an old "Dynacord ECC-
280 echo unit, very nice, but not a stable platform....
And Casey, did you get some more info on the "deep blue" Jaguar?
