I've been having some problems with my amp lately (65 reissue twin fender
reverb) and since I'm a tube amp newbie I don't really know what the
situation is. For the past couple of times I've turnd it on i've been
getting a "staticy fuzz" sound that comes through 100% of the time it's on,
when playing it's almost like distortion. At first I would turn the amp off
and on again and it would disappear but now it's a persistant problem. I
just bought this used not too long ago so I hope this wasn't something the
previous owner knew was coming on. Again I don't know how serious this is,
if I just need to replace the tubes or what. Any help would be appreciated.
