After the threads a while ago i re-started experimenting a bit with
picks again, especially since I was intrigued by Dave Wronski
mentioning he uses thin picks - dunlop gels light and linght/medium.
(actually, they are not that thin)
so, just for the hell of it, i also picked up a couple of dunlop
Ultexes, which have a very nice 'rough' vintage feel. indeed, they
sound very good (IMHO) - but, at yesterdays rehearsal, I broke TWO
while double-picking...
and then right this morning, I picked up a guitarplayer mag (june-
issue), it fell open at an ad page, and my eye catches a dunlop Ultex
add, saying they are 'practically wheightless and virtually
indestructable'. I broke TWO, brand new ones, for crying out loud.
they do sound nice tho.
