my teacher story:
when i was younger i started practicing in a recording studio. several rooms
were rented by different music artists too. an old man, i didnt know much
about him, except he was very friendly and refraining, gave guitar lessons to
a handful of students. later then i inherited a huge surf record collection, and
i
realized he had released lots of instrumentals thru the 60s and was also
among other things the guitarist for bert kaempfert from the 50s on. his name
ladi geisler. that was wow! man from the 40s. very into jazz, swing and blues
and much rocknroll. that time i had my first "real" guitar. a fender mustang 68
in creme, and since then he tought me many things with this six string
instrument. he is now 76 years old, still active in teaching and playing and
like
to talk about old times. for me it was a honour and i learned a lot. not only
playing surf. he needs to get in this database. recommendation: high.
localization: hamburg.

genres of surf/years exp. short bio/hours of availability/group lessons yes no/
price per hour. The data base should be a link section within this group with
contact info to email the teacher, could be for all musicians that teach surf
styles. bass drummers and keyboard players too. what do you all think, could
we pull this off? It would be cool to have artists from around the world all
providing quality surf lessons.
