Sam now ues a Showman head with a SWR 6X10 cab. with
Slacktone. When we first tried it, I immediately liked
it because for the first time I could actually tell
which notes he was playing. Always make final
judgements about sound in within the the context of
how it sounds against the band. By itself, you may
think a sound to be to distorted, but power amp
clipping {not Master Volume/ Pre amp distortion}can
really sound good against a band sound. By the way,
that SWR 6x10 cab was
designed with the guy from Pearl Jam, and is quite a
bit better sound than any other SWR cab.
