Hello DP;
I'm also a teacher - I teach economics at a college. So, I deal
mostly with 18-22-year-olds. Though I ostensibly get the summer
off, I'm doing SIX different summer teaching programs between May
and August that don't leave me that much time off - but the extra
pay is great! I'm at one right now, just north of NYC, sponsored by
the Foundation for Economic Education - this seminar is for the high-
school students, so it's the only time I get to hang out with 16 and
17-year-olds - a lot of fun!
I should mention that Larry White AKA Moon Dawg is also an economics
professor. I know the drummer for the defunct NY surf band the
Irreversible Slacks is also a college professor, teaching political
science, I think. There seems to be a lot of teachers in our
ranks...

PS Wow, this list has really exploded the last two days! Very
cool! Of course, it happens when I'm away from home and can't
participate, dammit...
