Re: [SurfGuitar101] Teachers and Surf Guitar

DP (noetical1) - 30 Jun 2005 13:54:04

Monty:
Well, the $$$ is nothing to write home about...but, the
work is way fun, and the vacation time (and benefits)
RULE!...maybe someday, I'll finish up the Masters degree or
Phd. and get a gig on the college scene...that might be a
lot cooler in the $$$ department.
Also, I've been considering school administration: a
superintendant in a local elementary school district here
just signed a contract for $250K per annum and killer
retirement benefits...it's big news around here...he's
earning better dough than either (California) Govenor
Schwarzenegger, or even President Bush...
I wonder if they let surf musicians run school districts?
I wonder if I'll ever have another day off if I turn
"Admin"? Decisions, decisions...
your reverberated teacher pal,
