I inherited a '66 Twin Reverb, bone stock. I thought the factory Jensen's
sucked, replaced them with a set of JBL's and the previously weak suck
amplifier was now the voice of god. What anyone sees (err, hears) in
anything ever made by Jensen, is beyond me.
so I'd say go JBL, if big tone, tons of overhead and ability to sing true at
low volumes is what you're looking for.
