I think he does use roundwounds.
You should be able to put that kind of set on your guitar, but I have heard
the Japanese Jaguar trem spring is not strong enough for anything above
.013s (according to Los Mel). Are the holes in the tail piece that small? I
wouldn't think you would have to worry about that. I think you would
probably have to tweak your truss rod and possibly you would have to get
your nut filed for the bigger strings. I would get a pro to do the nut work
if you need it. Let us know if you try it. Good luck.
