I would just like to add that you should run out and buy their CD if you
haven't already. Its one of the most exciting new discs to hit the surf
scene in some time. It smokes! If you like fast and aggressive surf, lots of
double picking, lots of cool poppin' and bubblin' reverby rhythm guitar,
then this is for you. Oh and Jim...(nice to see you here)...great job on da
drummin'!
I was fortunate enough to meet Jim (aka TooFastJim...story behind that?) at
the Troubadours/Destination Earth/Volcanos show in Indianapolis in June.
Cool and funny guy. And he bought me a beer...which I hope to repay him with
sometime :)
I was planning on jumping on a plane and going to the Oct 6th
Slacktone/Nebulas/Pollo Del Mar show in San Francisco, but too many things
conspired against me. I am bummed. Hopefully there will be a next time.
