Actually, Ted, it's funny you bring up this cover, cause that's the
exact one I had in mind when trying to think of bands that played out
with cardigans. The Belairs also sported a similar look in their
final days with Eddie Bertrand on lead guitar. But I was trying to
say simply that this was definitely an exception rather than the rule.
Interestingly enough, I took that very CD with me to the most recent
band practice just for that cover! It wasn't about the cardigans,
though, but rather about the tortoiseshell pickguards on the guitars,
as we're thinking about doing the same thing (matching tortoiseshell
pipickguards on our various-colored Fenders), just to give some sort
of a continuity.
