do you have a place where we can look at the schematics? wonder if
it's a copy of the fender schematic.
fwiw - that remark about the correct tubes don't mean j.s., you can
score nos 6k6's on ebay for next to nothing, and even my Tilburg,
netherlands local electronics store carries JAN GE 5751's. converting
to a 2 or 3 band eq should be fairly easy too.
what would be a big improvement is an eq on both clean AND reverb
signal.
My current belief is that, next to tubes, the reverb tray itself is
the biggest factor in deciding the sound, and as has been discussed
before, differences in those are just part of the deal.
anyway. if it is ptp and delivers surf reverb, it sure looks like a
better bang for the buck then the RI fender unit.
but why for the love of god does it look like Marshall???????????????
