I am not 100% posive about the color, nevertheless the
finsh appears so pretty and shiny that its at least
as good as a Fender paintjob.
But the other stuff you were uncertain about are all
66. rectangular inlays arrived in 66. The neck binding
in 65. My 65 Jag has got a much darker rosewood for
the fretboard, it might be a change from brazilian to
indian rosewood when CBS took over and all the pre-CBS
parts were used up.
