Re: Jag pick up height

supertwangreverb - 03 Apr 2005 11:53:03

I usually don't care too much for getting "exact" details when ti
comes to setting up any guitar. I usually just adjust things until
they are comfortable. But, this gotme thinking about the height of
my Jaguar pickups. There is NO WAY I could fit a #2 pencil in
between the strings and the pickups.
I've got two Jaguars here are the measurments(both have the same
pickups)
CIJ - Neck pickup top of high e pole piece to bottom of high e
string, 5/32s. Top of bass e pole piece to bottom of bass e
string, 5/32s
Bridge pickup top of high e pole piece to bottom of high e string,
4/32s. Top of bass e pole piece to bottom of bass e string, 5/32s.
AV - Neck pickup top of high e pole piece to bottom of high e
string, 3/32s. Top of bass e pole piece to bottom of bass e
string, 4/32s
Bridge pickup top of high e pole piece to bottom of high e string,
3/32s. Top of bass e pole piece to bottom of bass e string, 4/32s.
