hello Dan !!!
i'd say go for the JAZZMASTER ... of course if you can afford it!! otherwise,
strat is not a bad idea ...because of all those sounds it provides! and you can
get a really cheap (let's say SQUIER) copy for 150 bucks, and i haven't seen
jazz or jaguar copy with "same type of sound" for such money ! I JUST SOLD ONE
OF MY STRAT COPIES a couple of days ago- ...don't even know the name anymore:)
the thing is that i REALL REALLY DON'T LIKE THE SHAPE ...and wouldn't feel ok
with the strat on the stage !
oh- yes: but since i sold one, i needed to get me some fresh one and i bought A
HOME-MADE JAZZMASTER COOPY (the guy who made it is a big fan of us and has sold
a lot of guitars to me and he was so naughty to paint it in special collor so he
knew i couldn't resist!!)
maybe i can find you a link:... spent a few minutes and can't find any more- if
you're interested i can send you pic when i get them...
i am telling you all this because i think it's fun to have a really "original-
only you" guitar with your own sound and it's not so expensive...

I'm seriously thinking about buying a Fender guitar. Which is better
for lead? Jaguar or Jazzmaster? Or should I just get a Strat so I have an
all around guitar for all styles? Thoughts?
