Traynor amp for surf?

YCV40WR,
a 1-12" combo tube amp. I'd like a little, new 40 watter for a backup amp, and
this amp
seems priced right. But I am curious if they have a good Fender clean tone, or a
sound
suitable for surf. How would it compare to a Deluxe Reverb reissue, for
instance? OR a
Fender Hot Rod Deluxe?
