I recently got the Glaciers' great mid 60's album "From Sea To Ski".
Yesterday I came across a website that had all the album tracks posted,
so if anyone is interested, check them out. Great stuff that combines
reverb, fuzz and tremolo guitar and I think the Glaciers are a great
example of the cool type of studio groups that existed in the 60's.
Favorites of mine include "Holiday Hill", "Slalom" and "Blue Ridge".
Some of the songs were written by Lee Hazlewood and earlier also
recorded by Al Casey on the "Surfin' Hootenanny" album. Here they have
different titles though.
