Telstar bridge

BruceB (ebbindem) - 18 Nov 2001 11:47:45: Any suggestions for the rhythm part on the bridge of Telstar?
It's the harp-type part using the same basic pattern [A-F#m-D-E].
I've tried various positions (currently playing at the 10th fret),
hand-muting, strumming up on the neck, etc. Four piece band [two
guitars, bass & drums]. The arpeggios 'work' in theory; but in the
band situation, it's not flowing or providing the right counterpart
to the lead.
