I'm giving a listen to the latest batch of mp3's that Brian is compiling and
they are excellent!
Nor Cal does a great job of drums, bass and guitar on a very fun tune. Yo Nor
Cal Hodad, what's the story behind that beautiful candy apple red Mosrite?
I like the way Go Go Gone by Danny Bartley starts off with some disonant
"outside" tones and then breaks into a nice melody. It also has a nice jazzy mid
section.
Shawn gets some great sounds using the Line 6 gear, I'm guessing direct.
Great drums on War Song by Pozor Vlak. That's cool obsure tune number you guys
dug out.
Well anyway, these are all very inspirational tunes very well performed and
recorded. It's amazing to think of how far home-recording technology has come.
It's no wonder that professional studios are having trouble stayin' in biz.
