Stewd, I have a 4-piece situation in the works (yes, with a bass
player). We are doing a mix of covers and originals. The rhythm
guitarist has stepped to the plate and now plays lead on some of my
originals in a way that just knocks my socks off. We are at the point
of looking for something local and low-key for our first performance.
Also, I'll be playing most of the covers a Telecaster and a non-
Fender amp. Yes, I am a iconoclast.

surf musicians in general. Just keep twangin in there! You are in a
good position of being able to play bass or guitar because that means
if you find a bassist or guitarist you can pick up the other. Should
double your odds!
