Moscow band "Los Kosmos" perform the modern version of the surf music of the 60's with a large mixture of late styles such New Wave, Punk and Heavy Metal. The group rarely have gigs, since all participants are continuously busy in different Moscow pop, rock, rapcore and punk bands.However "Los Kosmos" are fairly productive authors of music for movies, cartoons and TV.
Pyre, The Strings Aflame’s first 12” release was officially presented last August 12th with a live show at Mexico City. Relax and listen to this 55 minute session where reverb and tubes were the main course, where a classic line up made of 3 guitars, bass and drums try to pay homage to the 60s classic sound while keeping it fresh with challenging harmonies. The Quiet Surfers are an S.F. Bay area based acoustic/electric guitar duo formed by two surf music veterans - Ferenc Dobronyi and Danny Snyder. Ferenc is the leader of Pollo Del Mar, Frankie of Frankie and the Poolboys, and is also a member of both The Aqua Velvets and The TomorrowMen. Danny is the leader of The TomorrowMen aka Mycroft Eloi, Shecky of Meshugga Beach Party, and plays in Frankie and the Poolboys. See a pattern here? We play all your 60's surf instro favorites as well as many songs from the modern era, including original compositions from our other band's repertoire.
