The Counselors are comprised of a group of guys who got together back in 2005 via a mutual love of instrumental music. The Counselors play both modern/high energy and traditional instrumental surf music on Fender Guitars through vintage Fender Reverb Units and Amplifiers.

The Sex Pistols meets the Sufaris meets Looneytunes. I tried to be as faithful to all 3 as possible. My first attempt at surf bugle. There would have been a kazoo solo but I couldn't find my good kazoo dammit.

We love surf guitar. We love music. We are an old school surf guitar band from Ottawa, Ontario. We have been told we sound “Tarantino” and “like something out of the 60′s” and you know what? To us, that’s a compliment. We are an instrumental surf guitar band combining vintage music we all know and love, music you never knew but will come to love, and our own originals, composed in an iconic style, and drenched in reverb and tremolo.
