Youth and enthusiasm are no match for age and treachery.

As long as someone is willing to pay the price I guess that there will be products like this will continue to be sold. It does nothing for me.

When Surf Guitar is outlawed only outlaws will play Surf Guitar.

Frightening. Monstrous.

It takes a lot of mussel memory to avoid clams.

For pickups, that's probably the best fizzle-for-the-buck I've ever seen.

You ought to hear the hot humbuckers in my FMT Tele. They'll overdrive an amp that's not even switched on. Smile

And the funny part is, the PAFs are recession priced. I've seen them go for $5000 each on Gbase and at local dealers.

They can make a $5-10,000 guitar a $25,000 one depending on the right guitar.. So it is worth buying them if you are serious about selling.

Complete ridiculous though.

Priced for entry level wheedley wheedelers.....................

Or how about these pickup covers?

Looks like a bargain to me.

I had to look at that ad a couple of times to even believe it, I thought it was a clever mock up. I guess it's more profitable to part out one of those old guitars than sell it in one piece..

Probably get broken by the post office if it ships anyway...

Yeah and he has a 100% rating... 100% of the folks he reamed enjoyed it apparently... Every transaction must come with a reach-around... Geez I hope that's supposed to hyphenated, or the Captain'll be on me again...

I see huge red flares go up when a seller has nothing but private transactions showing.

But just think of the vintage tone you will get with those 5000$ pick-up covers. Just the thing to increase the gravitas of your Squire Strat!

Have you ever read about EVH original PU???? He wax potted it and left it in so long it almost melted the whole thing!!!! When Fender took it out to reproduce it it wouldn't even read on a meter, but it still works. How do you reproduce that?????

I thought it was EVH's signature on the back of each "relic" pickup that give it that authentic tone, whatever that may be
