I lost another groupie today, my little buddy Smooch. If I sat on the floor to noodle around she'd always get on my lap to "help". I'm sure I'll see her again when it's my turn to go.

My deep condolences, Fritz. Having lost our 15-year-old dog just a month and a half ago, we are missing him very much, but we are treasuring our wonderful 2-year-old kitty. Animals can truly be amazing companions and friends, and their impact on our lives lingers long after they're gone - thank goodness!

this is my buddy Django. With me for 14 years. Had to put him to rest exactly two years ago today. He was a chatty character, and everyone loved him. He kept me sane and pushing through the darkest period of my life. Amazing animal. He became an honorary employee at a festival I worked.
