Been cleaning out my parents house and came across an old RCA Hi-Fi system with these P12R Concert Series speakers in them. They look almost normal except they have a whizzer cone. They appear to be from '67.
I put one of them in a 112 closed back Avatar cabinet and they are very bright. I'm sure the whizzer has a little to do with that.
As you can see, I accidentally pulled out a wire while trying to remove them from the mono Hi-Fidelity cabinet.
If the experts here have any info on these, please let me know. I don't know if I should send this one in for repair or what. I plan to do more testing with the one that is still has both leads. The cones appear to be in excellent shape too.
