I have to say, the search function was and continues to be the Achilles heel of this site.

What you really need is the ability to limit search to just threat titles, just post text or both.

That's a good idea, and one that I planned on implementing when I have time.

Just remember this is a one man operation right now, and I didn't implement everything I wanted all at once; if I waited until every single wish was completed the new site would not have been rolled out yet.

I have to say though, I think the new search function is miles better than the old one. Not only can you search more areas of the site, but it is much faster and produces better results.

Another way to search the site is to use Google. Just include the term "site:surfguitar101.com" in your Google search query.

Search is a hard problem.

I totally understand, and I appreciate everything that you do!

You can now search by forum topic name and by forum post content. Also, clear your browser's cache to see the new search form, which now remembers your query term and search area choices after hitting "submit".

Thanks to DeadRanchHands for reminding me to add this.
