I was wondering if I could buy a reverb tank kit and build one myself for cheap. Anyone know any good links to any resources...?

cheaper than a RI for $300, I don't think so. Not even close. Save your time for double picking practice. Laughing

define "for cheap"... $315 , yes can do. (weber, build your own box)

$ 3.95 ... sorry, not possible

bottomline: don't self-built for money's sake, it's not worth it, (unless you live in Europe) better build quality maybe, depends I guess. there's threads on the forum on this somewhere. I posted pics of my tanks, one is a weber kit, too.

The Weber kit is the only one I know of. I built one partially from parts I got from Weber, and parts I got locally. Getting the kit may be easier; the way I did it was a lot of work. Unless you are into the fun aspect of rolling your own, and have some electronics knowledge, in case you have a problem, you're probably better off buying an RI.
