I have some really groovy live Ventures footage from the 60's, black & white , with their Mosrite geetars. I was gonna put Diamondhead on youtube or vimeo, but youtube & vimeo say you can only download stuff you created. You can't download anything commercial or they will yank it.
Anyone have experience with this ? Are they vigilant about their policy ?
Thanks.

Ignore their policies. 99.9% of the material posted on those sites contains copyright violations.

Please post everything you have.Vintage Ventures video footage is well worth the risk.If not just for historical purposes.

There is no risk. Worst that happens is the video is taken down. And with the Ventures, that won't happen.

I appreciate your advice , Jake & Brandonio.
I bought this on vhs years ago & transferred it to dvd. Am downloading
it now. It seems to be live, but the sound quality sounds canned, tho I can tell it's not the studio versions.
Also have footage of Dick Dale & the Challengers,
Dick Clark's rockin new year's eve 1962. Dick D talks to Dick C.
The Challengers mime to "Foot tappin'". Too bad the pic & sound
quality isn't so good.
