I got their CD a few weeks ago (and got extra copies that are for sale in our mail order catalog) and have really been digging it. The CD that we have is more garagy, nearly all cover songs. However, they're now going in a more surf direction, so it'll be great to see what they come up with for their next CD release. This youtube clip is very cool though! —Sean Surf CD's / Vinyl / Fanzines / DVD's |

Sounds pretty good to me. I wish more surf bands would sound as big as these guys and this was recorded through a camcorder. At the moment; Euro surf > US Surf. Is that a Ventura being used for the lead guitar. |

thanks everybody for appriciation!
yeah, actually it is deserted military fortification near to St.Petersburg (or more exactly between St.Pete and Kronstadt). That's place for annual undeground fest (mostly punk and hc bands, but as you see surf sounds there, too!) Sean is absolutely right! Our first release was 100% garage punk stuff, and now we are more in surf with some east european and soviet psych touch. You can check our new record (called SURFIN' CIRCUS) on our myspace (http://www.myspace.com/kingkongs) or download it from our site (http://thekingkongs.com/music_en.php).
is it question? (excuse my English) 2bigtikidude btw. check our Wipe Out!: welcome to Sloptonia! |
