Thanks guys... it's nice to be missed. SDSU is currently on semester break, and in their world, everything comes go a grinding halt during the break. I've been pressing the key people ever so slightly to try to get any info out of them, (I don't want to become a pest), but so far nothing. SG101 will be the first to know when we go back on-line. Recently I pulled up two college radio stations (KFJC being one of them) and used Windows Media Player to listen, and neither had any song info... I don't get it. |

I don't know why KCR has to suspend their internet broadcast until this can be settled. Other stations certainly aren't. I did a random sampling of College Radio Stations in iTunes a couple weeks ago. The following stations posted call letters or other trivia but not streaming song info at the time: KTRU, KVSC, KZSC, WMBR, WMSE, WRTI, KXLU, KZSU, WKPS, WONC, UCLAradio, KALX, KBCS, KSDT (Fiercely Independent College Radio (University of San Diego UCSD)). These did provide song info: SOMA, KANM. Doesn't seem to be a big deal with a majority of stations, eh? I want my Day at the Beach!!! |

Gee Clint, all this fine music we're missing out on hearing.:( Regulations be dammed -- Is there any chance you could have these shows recorded and posted here as podcasts? Along those lines, if anybody in the San Diego area is listening to the show and can, as a minimum, record the audio on VCR (or DVR) from the TV Cox or Time Warner music channel and could mail it to me, I'll convert it to mp3 and make a podcast from it. |
