Sounds good, though I'm not too sure about the tagline 'Marin's only surf band'
Mark was adamant about how much he liked playing rhythm, I guess he finally decided to step up to the spotlight. I always liked the songs he wrote for the SC's so I'm very interested in what he's doing now. Maybe we should take a trip to Peri's Ferenc.

Mark is one of my biggest influences rhythm-wise.

You may want to put on sunglasses before you view the myspace page- WOW, all the pretty colors!
Marin is a county, population 247,289. Home to San Quentin, Muir Woods, Mt. Tamalpais, a beautiful coastline and at least a couple of surf bands.

...and my birthplace.
I think I jammed with the drummer and the non-Cossack guitar player before. Cool guys. The tracks sound pretty good too.
If any of you Bay Area band guys want to spread your wings and try to play a show in the Sonoma Valley, send me a message and I'll connect you with...The Guy.

There is also a "Marin City" in Marin County. There used to be an awesome flea market there until they decided to use the land for yet more crappy chain stores..... We bought many great records and posters there and we really miss it.

Hey guys, can't wait to play again!! I think our next show will be in May.
Check the myspace site for updates, or add yourself to the e-mail list there and you will get an alert. As for "Marin's only surf band".. I don't know where he got that one... there's the El Dorados and Mashuggenah Beach Party.. and I think a guy from the Aquavelvets is from near here.. writer's liberty I suppose.. hahaaa but any publicity is good publicity and we'll take it.
Or we could take a page from the Clash .. the only surf band in Marin that matters heheh.. yes. We are a bit rough on the edges, but that's the way we built it to be. I'm from the NW so indeed, a bit of that sound mixes in. You'll like the new material we've been working on though. We'll record again in the fall for our 2nd CD> til the next boys.. I'm off to eat some fish food.. arrrr

"Marin's only surf band" UGH! I have no idea where that guy came up with that quote being that he never spoke or interviewed any of us. We just sent him the C.D. and he pretty much plagiarized our internet bio for the story. How can we be the "only" surf band in Marin??? when quite a few of our friends that live here are in surf bands.....boggles my small little brain it does.......JazzGale

I like their sound. I'll listen to them anytime.
Their myspace songs sounded pretty clear to me.
