Saw him last night at IOTA in Arlington VA and it was great!!
Go see this guy if he ever comes to your town!! He's based out of NY, but he also plays all over the country and internationally as well.
He plays with different back-up musicians depending on the location he's playing. He played with Sam Bolle on bass and Pete Curry on drums in LA at the Guitar Geek festival. Last night his band was a drummer and a Sousaphone (Tuba) player doing the bass lines. I know this seems weird, but it worked really well!! In fact I think in his case the sousaphone really complimented his jazzy guitar playing style better than a stringed bass.
His stuff is sort of an ecclectic mix of surf-a-billy, latin, instro, jazz whatever, but it really works and it's a lot of fun! Plus, he's an incredible guitar player and a really nice guy too.
Highly Recommended!!

This is pretty cool stuff. It seems like it would grow on me a lot. For now I find the songs mostly just interesting, but strangely appealing. Thanks for the heads up!

Incredible chops. Can't say I care for the tone but hey, if you can play like that, you can sound any way you want!
